Abstract

This research focuses on knowing the students' perception of Pedagogy in Physical Education of Temuco located in relation to the interests, knowledge, professional projections and satisfaction with curriculum and university academic experience offers career. The population consists of 467 students of which was obtained a representative sample totaled 288 subjects. The method of data collection was a questionnaire of 83 questions in 4 areas, to which the internal consistency was calculated using Cronbach's Alpha, reaching a score of 0.876. The results indicate that students show greater interest in the activities that are associated with the practical (46.8%), know the curricular structure of the race (50.1%), try to perform professionally as physical education teachers in the classroom (54.9%) and are partially satisfied with the curriculum (40.9%).
