The environmental thought, of messianic typology, is characterized by cultural relativism and the authoritarian skepticism in the faith and the myth of nature, and by a metaphysical or religious being, which is introduced in a symbolic form, whether in an immanent or transcendent way in the symbolic configurations and thus in actions. It is characteristic of the foresaid mesianism its self presentation against technology; without differentiating critically science from technology, and both categories from dehumanising instrumentalism. This current of mesianic environmental thought transforms the critical visions of the theory of communicative action placing them uncriticly on the ideological platform of the Latin-American theology of liberation, with a metaphysical and anthropological focus, which will be called for the argumentative purposes of this article: theology of the communicative action.
