The author writes this text upon having received the N’AITUN International Award, recently conferred to her in Chile. In the pages below, she explains the offspring process of the ECOART Project, which she heads and encourages along with a group of scientists and artists. The project’s fundamental objective is to link science and art in the adventure of knowledge, in order to establish integrative and integrated views of the world. All such action is steered towards promoting increased ecological balance and adequate social equity.
The principles of a new paradigm for interpreting reality, the contributions of a science with consciousness, artistic languages, they are all part of this project, under which various transdisciplinary seminars have been held, books have been published, poetry readings and painting exhibitions have taken place and a Manifesto of scientists and artists for sustainable development has been drawn up
