Abstract

The author proposes a re/invention of citizenship from popular education. He points out that in these days citizens are the new social and political, educational, cultural and economic center, but that there still prevails a perspective from a technocratic authoritarianism or a technocratic perspective, more or less mercantilist. The author poses against this an idea of free community based on reciprocity of relations not regulated by money, to which one can approach from a liberating educational practice.
