The author argues that globalization has become an "uncontrollable and excluding machine ", governed by economic mechanisms that have been emancipated from ethics and culture, in a project of extermination of cultural diversity and the roots of the independent living of humans. Against this, and following the principle of Gandhi, postulates a nonviolent economy.
