Abstract

The nonviolent community resistance is a strategy for the transformation of conflict. The study includes the analysis of the “Asamblea Municipal Constituyente” (AMC) as a kind of resistance process in Mogotes, Santander, Colombia. The article retakes the research experience made in this county in order to search the contribution of the social net in the development and maintenance of the identity policies in the resistance process. Etnographic methods were used, as well as personal interviews and contents of radial programs. The study arrived to the conclusion that the encouragement of the identity policies is influenced by the social nets that take part in the process.
