Abstract

The author argues that we are in front of a conflict over globalization strategy, being the ongoing struggle to reformulate the idea of constitutional state one of its edges. This has ment a growing crush of human rights exercised by constitutional state and democracy. This is a conflict with a deep background that under no circumstances will find solution by a simple change of government in the United States. The conflict is a long term one and will continue to produce many victims. He postulates that we are developing a new totalitarianism in whose construction globalization strategy is at the root of the problem.
