This paper aims at answering the question of how gender and age hierarchies condition educational and professional trajectories in Argentine and Moroccan migrations in Galicia. The research presented here was carried out using a qualitative and multi-situated methodology, applying a gender and intergenerational approach. The reflections that emerged highlight the impact of the family structure on the trajectories studied, whose mechanisms of solidarity and reciprocity reveal concrete negotiations between the genders and the generations.Downloads
