Abstract

School has traditionally been associated with knowledge. The question normally asked in schools is: what do you know? It is not usual to hear this other question: what do you feel? We will explain in this essay that this is due to the traditional way of understanding the educational process in schools. That is the reason why we propose to reformulate the formal educational process, starting by democratizing schools, and more specifically, allowing pupils to self organize in relation to the time and educational spaces. Freedom to make decisions in an autonomous way and freedom as something that generates a nice and fruitful coexistence are two important conditions for the abovementioned democratization.
