Abstract

From the Industrial Revolution cooperativism is an alternative to the multiple crises of capitalism that adapts to different historical conditions and ideologies. This paper addresses the cooperativism in Tacámbaro, state of Michoacán, Mexico. It begins with a semblance of cooperativism and summarizes the fieldwork to help us understand how the historical background, networks of relationships, innovation and investment are reasons for success of cooperatives.
