The runaway girl: analysis of the female presence in the poetic works of Alejandra Pizarnik

Abstract

This article studies the treatment of the feminine presence in the poetic work of Alejandra Pizarnik. We believe that the whole set of feminine presences which can be found in her work, constitutes a key part of Pizarnik's poetic art. We focus on the treatment of the “little girl”, which we consider the core of all feminine presences.
