Paralympic sport in the field of physical education: approach and extracurricular alternative.

Abstract
The present study aims to investigate how the Paralympic Sport is discussed in the Physical Education courses, through the students vision on the practical experience of that content and its relevance in training, during a university Paralympic tournament between students of Physical Education. In the students opinion, the Paralympic Sport is a relevant content in their professional training and practical experience is an important part in their learning. It is expected that further research is conducted in order to characterize the approach of Paralympic Sport in Physical Education courses, from observing lessons or showing new extracurricular alternatives to complement the discussions held in the disciplines.
