The author reviews the role that patriarchal societies have granted women, to focus then in modernity, a time whose dominant values are defined from the male and Western view of the world, presented as universal values. He delves then into the invisibility of women and nature in the modern paradigm and the predominance of economicism, and notes that the process of emancipation of women anticipates the emergence of a new paradigm with feminine values as a proposal for a shared reconstruction of society.
