Student movement, education system and current political crisis in Chile

Abstract

This article is installed in the complex analysis of the present and its development as opening transformation policy statements regarding the new socio-political scenarios produced by mature neoliberalism, installed under the military dictatorship and continued by the governments of the Concertación de Partidos por la Democracia. In these transformations the students movement is placed as a key driving force in the current national policy setting, both in its present and future opening and in the maturation of a transitional critical political process to Neoliberalism.
